Hinder released their third installment of the album Extreme Behavior on October 16, 2007 on Universal Republic Records. The third installment is titled Extreme Behavior (Limited Edition CD/DVD) and contains a new album cover.
The two previous installments of Extreme Behavior were their debut album Extreme Behavior released on September 27, 2005 and their Extreme Behavior Deluxe Edition (Wal-Mart Exclusive) released on March 27, 2007.
All three installments contain all of the songs that were on Hinder’s original debut album with the exception of Extreme Behavior Deluxe Edition (Wal-Mart Exclusive) and Extreme Behavior (Limited Edition CD/DVD), which contains additional bonus songs.
Not only are there additional bonus songs on the second and third installments of Extreme Behavior but also Extreme Behavior (Limited Edition CD/DVD) contains a live concert performance of Hinder and behind the scene footage that will give a more in-depth persona of who Hinder really are. Not only does Extreme Behavior (Limited Edition CD/DVD) contain a live concert performance and behind the scene footage but it also contains all of their music videos. Music videos like Get Stoned, Better Than Me, Lips Of An Angel and Born To Be Wild.
Hinder consists of vocalist Austin Winkler, lead guitarist Joe “Blower Garvey, rhythm guitarist Mark King, bassist Mike Rodden and drummer Cody Hanson.
I listened to all three installments of Extreme Behavior in their entirety and I really enjoyed them.
Extreme Behavior commences with the hit song Get Stoned and concludes with Shoulda. The songs in between like How Long, Nothin’ Good About Goodbye, Bliss (I Don’t Wanna Know), Better Than Me and Lips Of An Angel continue to replay into your consciousness about ones previous heartaches.
Besides the songs about ones previous heartaches Hinder managed to accomplish the unthinkable. They managed to record and include on their second and third installments of Extreme Behavior recreated versions of Take Me Home Tonight by Eddie Money and Born To Be Wild by Steppenwolf. Take Me Home Tonight and Born To Be Wild sound even better than the original versions. Hinder even pulled off an awesome version of Bon Jovi’s melodramatic song Bed of Roses that is on the album Extreme Behavior Deluxe Edition (Wal-Mart Exclusive).
If you are unfamiliar with Hinder visit their website at www.hinderonline.com or their MySpace page at www.myspace.com/hindermusic. A majority of individuals who either know or listen to Hinder would probably recommend that you listen to Lips Of An Angel. However, Lips Of An Angel was once the most played Hinder song on MySpace, however Better Than Me has surpassed it by over six million plays. Although Lips Of An Angel is an awesome song, there are even better songs on the album that are often neglected on Extreme Behavior.
The songs that are often neglected on Extreme Behavior are How Long and Bliss (I Don’t Wanna Know). If you enjoy a more melodramatic song then you will definitely want to listen to Better Than Me. Hopefully soon, they will post Bliss (I Don’t Wanna Know) for your listening pleasure because it is an awesome song. Also, besides How Long, Bliss (I Don’t Wanna Know) and Better Than Me, do not forget to listen to other good songs like Get Stoned, By The Way, Nothin’ Good About Goodbye and Shoulda.
If after listening to Hinder’s music it turns out that you enjoy their music, make sure you purchase their album at iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody or any store that sells their music. If you purchase Extreme Behavior Deluxe Edition (Wal-Mart Exclusive) at Wal-Mart, it contains bonus songs of Bed Of Roses and Take Me Home Tonight.
If you go to iTunes, www.amazon.com, Target or Best Buy you can purchase Hinder’s Extreme Behavior Limited Edition album and it includes Get Stoned (Piano Version) and Born To Be Wild.
If you want to hear a live performance by Hinder make sure you purchase the album Live from Las Vegas At The Palms – EP. It will cost you about five dollars and it contains live versions of Homecoming Queen, Bliss (I Don’t Wanna Know), Better Than Me, Lips Of An Angel and Get Stoned.
Also, if you can afford to spend at least twenty-five dollars, purchase Hinder’s import album of Extreme Behavior. It contains Lips Of An Angel (Acoustic) and Get Stoned (Piano Version).
If you cannot afford to spend twenty-five dollars on their import album and you still want to purchase several of their acoustic songs, visit www.amazon.com or www.ebay.com. At www.amazon.com or www.ebay.com you will find that they offer the single import album of Lips Of An Angel. The import album of Lips Of An Angel contains awesome acoustic versions of By The Way and Bliss (I Don’t Wanna Know). And if you can afford it all, purchase all of the albums listed above.
I am looking forward to Hinder’s new album whenever that will be. If you have already seen Hinder’s live performance than you may have heard them perform Running In The Rain. Running In The Rain must be included on Hinder’s new album because it will be a huge hit on the album.
Finally, I am looking forward to providing future coverage of Hinder.
