The Wildbirds will be releasing their debut album Golden Daze by Pat’s Record Company (PRC) on August 14, 2007.

The band consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Nicholas Stuart, lead guitarist Matthew Reetz, bassist Hugh Masterson and drummer Jon Jon.

The minute I listened to the album I really enjoyed it because they reminded me and sounded very similar to The Black Crowes but a little heavier. Not only do The Wildbirds sound very similar to The Black Crowes but also their album touches a wider range of audiences because of their different tempos.

For instance, if you are interested in bang your head hair metal or just a very fast guitar tempo, then you will want to listen to 421, Someday We Can All Fly Away and Will Get Away from the debut album Golden Daze. So, I know what some of you are thinking, your preference is not a very fast guitar tempo?

Do not be concerned, there is every guitar tempo of music on this album. If you like a slower tempo then you should definitely listen to songs like Hard On Me, Slow Down and Shake Shake. Still looking for even a slower tempo, basically acoustic?

Then you should listen to Where Has Goodness Gone? and heart-felt songs like Please Don’t Go and Suzanna.

In other words, if you are looking for music similar to The Black Crowes but you want a faster guitar tempo or even a slower tempo then Golden Daze is for you. You heard it first hear on Always Acoustic™, Please Don’t Go will be one of the biggest hits on their album. Other hits will include: Hard on Me, Slow Down, Shake Shake and Suzanna.
